ABOUT THE TREATMENTS

Facial Reflex Therapy (Lone Sørensen TM) is the foundation, and Japanese Lifting is one of its branches. It is a holistic beauty treatment that is also relaxing and detoxifying for the organs, including a light lymphatic drainage. The treatment has an immediate effect: firming, fresh glow, and vitality in the skin—results that become more lasting with repeated treatments. In this traditional/original Japanese Lifting, the skin and its radiance are the core focus.

Do you want or need to go deeper within your body?
Japanese Lifting De-Stress is a more in-depth treatment developed and offered exclusively at Junes Room. Still based on Japanese Lifting, this treatment initially focuses on the shoulders, neck, and chest/decolleté combined with a lightly guided mindful session with breathing exercises and more. Whether due to busyness, the need for grounding, the desire for better breathing, or illness: Japanese Lifting De-Stress is the ultimate destressing treatment.

Facial Trauma Treatment (Lone Sørensen TM): By reading the connective tissue of the face, one can identify new/recent as well as old stress/trauma-related build-ups, working more deeply with the connective tissue in certain areas of the face. This treatment is not offered separately but is included as a bonus when you choose the Japanese Lifting treatment at Junes Room.

Lifting Gua Sha & Cupping: “Chinese: Gua = to scrape, Sha = redness.” An ancient Chinese method used throughout Asia for thousands of years. A highly effective stimulating and detoxifying treatment for the whole body. Focusing on the skin in the face, I was among the first to take the course here (Mette Brandt/Comsombody)—a very fine beauty treatment in line with Japanese Lifting. It also works with connective tissue (any stagnation), lymph, and blood circulation. Good circulation opens pores and prepares the skin to better absorb your preferred serums and creams.
BONUS: Learn to use a Gua Sha stone, incorporate it into your daily routines, and enhance the effectiveness of your products. This is a gentle treatment and can be a lovely alternative to Japanese Lifting, also focusing on beauty. Additional cupping is used for extra stimulation of the mentioned tissues, but I do not recommend home use unless you proceed very cautiously!

Shoulder/Neck + Back Treatment: Busy schedules, sedentary, and static work positions are usually the main causes of most tensions and knots in this area—stress (thoughts) also plays a significant role. Enjoy an additional treatment to your Japanese Lifting or choose a treatment focusing solely on the shoulders and neck. The treatment is combined with 15 minutes of infrared therapy (see more info below).

Infrared Light Therapy: A highly deep-acting effect through waves that move through all three layers of skin (including connective tissue, lymph, etc.), muscles, tendons, and even bones. It’s a major boost for blood circulation (as is a regular sauna at a certain temperature) and also stimulates collagen production, among other benefits. At Junes Room, great emphasis is placed on the deep relaxing effect.
Note: It is possible to add 15 minutes as an additional treatment.

As a coach, I do not (or only slightly) concentrate on your past but focus on how the “landscape” looks today and what you can concretely do to move forward. We talk together, I ask reflective questions, and you may receive tools and tasks to take home.
