FACIAL TREATMENT in the HEART OF COPENHAGEN
With a focus on destressing
Natural Beauty. Inner Calm. Balance.
At Junes Room, you will find a sanctuary where natural beauty, wellbeing, and balance come together. Located in peaceful surroundings in the heart of Copenhagen – close to Nørreport and Kongens Nytorv – I offer treatments created with care, presence, and a deep respect for the connection between body and mind.
The foundation of my treatments is Japanese Lifting (original method by Lone Sørensen), a technique rooted in facial reflex therapy and lifting methods. I also offer Japanese Lifting Advanced, designed especially for those experiencing tension in the jaw, face, and neck.
My holistic approach also includes cosmetic acupuncture, nano- and microneedling, Gua Sha, cupping, and relaxing shoulder, neck, and body treatments incorporating Hot Stones. Inspired by Eastern healing traditions, I work with releasing tension, supporting the body’s natural energy flow, and creating space for qi (chi) to move freely. Infrared light, light therapy, and the CHI machine are incorporated into selected treatments to enhance relaxation, balance, and the overall experience.
Whether you seek natural radiance, relief from tension, or simply a moment of calm away from everyday life, each treatment is tailored to meet you exactly where you are. My intention is that you leave feeling more grounded, balanced, and renewed.
Care. Calm. Balance. Presence.

SOUND OF JUNES ROOM

Birdsong in Junes Room – why nature sounds instead of music?
In Junes Room, I consciously work with the senses because they help you connect more deeply with your whole self – not just your physical body.
As a therapist, I primarily work with three senses:
- The sense of touch through the hands-on treatment
- The sense of smell through essential oils in the room and during the treatment
- The sense of hearing through the sounds of nature
The birdsong can gently guide you away from the pace of the city and closer to nature and your inner self. It creates space for presence, awareness, and the opportunity to truly feel and listen inward.
When I give the treatment and you receive it, we are present on two different levels: You are both passive and active. You receive the treatment, while at the same time you experience, feel, and sense.
Who are you in this moment? What do you need right now?
These questions do not always need answers – they are simply allowed to remain open and change from treatment to treatment.
The four senses often involved in treatment:
- The tactile sense – touch and physical sensation
- The olfactory sense – the sense of smell
- The auditory sense – the sense of hearing
- The visual sense – the sense of sight
The remaining senses are:
- The vestibular sense – balance and equilibrium
- The proprioceptive sense – body awareness, position, and movement
- The gustatory sense – the sense of taste
Birdsong in Junes Room
Why birdsong and not music?
In Junes Room, I consciously work with several of our senses because it helps you connect better with your entire body—not just the physical…
Based on four of our seven senses, it’s particularly evident to me as a therapist to focus on three: the sense of touch (inevitably), the sense of smell, and the sense of hearing.
- You receive manual treatment from me
- You experience the scent of essential oils in the room and through the treatment
- You hear sounds from nature
Especially with the sounds of birds, you may be transported away from the city and into nature. This opens up virtually all your other senses and brings you closer to your inner self…
Simply the fact that I’m treating you and you’re receiving treatment places us on two different active levels, where you as the client are “passively active.” You receive (not active), you experience (active). Who are you as a person? What do you desire/need when receiving treatment?
There are many open questions that don’t necessarily need answers; it’s beautiful that they remain open and vary from time to time, from treatment to treatment.
The four senses are:
- The tactile sense (sense of touch and feeling)
- The olfactory sense (sense of smell)
- The auditory sense (sense of hearing)
- The visual sense (sense of sight)
The additional three (and less utilized during treatment) senses are:
- The vestibular sense (sense of balance and spatial orientation)
- The proprioceptive sense (muscle and joint sense, body position sense, and kinesthetic sense)
- The gustatory sense (sense of taste)
